...the sad sad month...
It's been a month since i updated ..... like the title above... it has been a sad month.. 1st of all... my cousin was admitted into the ICU last month. she was hit at the head and 2 malays that was trying to snatch her bag.. it happen in Kajang.... but luckily there was a taxi driver that pass by and he somehow know my uncle.. so he sent my cousin to the hospital and inform my uncle.
She was conscious when my uncle and auntie arrived... but she was so traumatized that she was pushing everyone that was trying to get near her.. pushing the nurse, doctors, and even her parents... Not long after that she started vomiting, something is not right. If one start vomiting and feeling dizzy or having migraine after an accident one is injured in the head.. none the less she was hit in the head.. she was then send to GH (General Hospital KL) cos there was 2 doctors on stand by. By the time she reach GH it's about 9pm.. had x-rays scan and etc... scull cracked and that part of the brain was damage ( not so sure of the situation) and needed surgery immediately.. by the time they were done with all the x-rays and scanning and ready for operation was already 1am...
She was pushed into the operating theatre at 1am and came out at 5am... her family members were out side the operating theater for that 4hrs of operation praying for their daughter and sister.. the operation was successful the doctor said that there wont be any problem on her physical movement, but the thing that they are worried about if there's mental damage for example anaesthesia, or slow or erm retarded..?? I visited her that day when she was still in ICU... i couldn't help but burst out in tears when i saw her lying there... during that time no one knew exactly what happen .. so everyone was guessing... snatch thieves on motorcycle trying to snatch her bag and she fell and drag her on the road, that's y she got scratches on her back... and etc... trust me what ever way u can think of was imagine by my auntie...
Thank god, the next day she gain consciousness and THank God she can recognise people.. able to call her mom and dad when she woke up... and can recognise her boss and colleagues... I visited her that day too... when i see her trying to talk then i burst out crying again... her mom was telling us she is still traumatized, every now and then she'll get up and struggle... the 1st day even worst b4 sending her to GH she struggle until she fell of the bed..
2 weeks had pass... she is now at home, she is able to walk and she remembers what happen that day, 2 malays guys trying to snatch her bag and normal reaction was to struggle then they hit her head with the helmet. But according to my auntie, she's alil childish now...
2nd sad thing is that my grandma is very very old, she gonna hit 90 years old soon... and lately she is not able to walk, my mom bought her a wheel chair but she refuse to use it.. despite she is 88/89 yrs old she still does the cooking at home.. she cooks for at least 10 people... well the maid went back Indonesia about 3 months ago and i dunno y aren't my uncle hiring new maid... so a cousin of mine is helping out with the house chores, despite having classes and all she has to wake up 6am to clean the house b4 going to college..
And lately my grandmother's vision is getting blurry.... cousin took her to the doctor last Monday and the doctor said that 1 of her eye has cataract and the other 1 has some sort of thing and that will definitely going blind... and my grandma don't wanna go for operation on the eye which has cataract... my mom will see the doctor this coming Monday and see if there's any other help....
